DISH Network For Business TV – Frequently Asked Questions
Where will the DISH be located?
The installer will determine the optimal location for the DISH antenna cabling and placement of receivers at the time of the install or if necessary, before. The most common place is on the roof. See mount types on the next page for other possible locations.
Will the DISH be visible?
The visibility of the DISH antenna depends upon the location and type of mount used. The installer will always attempt to minimize the visibility of the DISH antenna.
Will there be permanent changes to the appearance of my roof or building?
The DISH antenna is a necessary fixture. The most common mount, on the roof, requires no penetration fixture. Cabling is required to run from the DISH antenna to the receivers. The installer will always attempt to utilize existing cabling points of entry, but if a new penetration point needs to be made, the installers are licensed and bonded and will always fill and weather proof any penetration points necessary to complete the installation. If a roof mount cannot be used, the installer will discuss wall of pole mount options (see next page).
Will there be wires attached to my building?
Cabling wires are necessary from the DISH antenna to the receivers. The installer can discuss exactly where the wires can and will need to be placed prior to installation. The goal is always to have a neat, clean look.
